Epitaph

I go holding nothing in my hands, except the lines that determined my life
I pass with nothing in my heart except longing for eternal peace
I melt with no possession except the memories of my being
I return to earth with gratitude for letting me be in her bosom
I surrender to the ether with fragrance of love that I was bestowed with
I swim towards the infinite with no abhorrence for anybody
I surrender my desires and my attachments and my unfulfilled wishes
I embrace the vast emptiness

It’s a far better place I journey to than I have ever gone
It’s a far better rest that I go to than I have ever known

Remember me
Not for anything but for how I was one of you
Ordinary, passionate, dreamy
Guilty, scared and doubtful
I've known pleasure and pain
I've seen victory and despair
I've cherished love and suffered hatred
I've got and lost
I've suffered my mistakes

I have lived

  7. The last lines..."I have lived" is simple but so hauntingly deep. I won't be having an epitaph as I will pledge my organ and body.
