Here's a short film (still pics.) I made, dedicated to soldiers all over the world. It's based on my poem Requiem. The background score is pretty awesome. So I recommend watching it with headphones / a good sound system. And ofcourse, watch it on 'fullscreen' mode.
YESSS! Finally a poem in tribute to soldiers at war. You had me swinging from highs of patriotism and lows of pain. And the music was as fantastic :) Well done
First thing in the morning I did after logging in to my computer is watch this video and you literally make me cry..such a wonderful tribute and the music is heart wrenching..Thanks for such a lovely post Anupam..
Thanks for watching the video. And many thanks for your kind words which provide reassurance that the video could achieve the purpose it was created for.
The background score is composed by Clint Mansell . Its quite popular by the name "requiem for a dream" soundtrack. I've used two versions of the composition, one being the original and the other being the "Electric Violin" version by an awesome violinist named Kate Chruscicka.
Watch I made something recently @ http://anupampatracontemplates.blogspot.in/2012/08/poetry-in-motion.html . It's called "In Lord's Light" based on my poem "In Lord's Light".
Beautiful video! A wonderful tribute !! It takes one through our military history on every carved walk... A must see!
