O girl with the smile of fairies
The tip toer of my dreams
Where art thou
My eyes seek only you
O lady with heart of gold
The healer of my miseries
Why do you conceal
Nothing's same without your feel
The nightingale which sang your songs
In the mornings of my days
Alights empty beaked
And looks in dismay
The nights which were satin
Like the moon rays
Without your voice in ears
Is spent in terrible fear
The breeze which kissed
And gave me your care
Blows barren and bare
Without your touch it's lost far
Your warmth was my strength
Your love my light
Your hand my guide
Through all hurdles in sight
With you not near
All miseries flock here
The days don't pass
And the dawn doesn't seem clear
I lie on our bed and watch
The sun rise and set
Children come and play
Sunlight warm the leaves
And I lie cold
Bereft of of your glow
And I lie lost
Bereft of your soul
My promises I remember
My oaths I hold on to
I ll be where I assured
I ll do all that I offered
My wait is endless and eternal
For births this and then
I'll stand where now I wait
Whether you do or do not return
The tip toer of my dreams
Where art thou
My eyes seek only you
O lady with heart of gold
The healer of my miseries
Why do you conceal
Nothing's same without your feel
The nightingale which sang your songs
In the mornings of my days
Alights empty beaked
And looks in dismay
The nights which were satin
Like the moon rays
Without your voice in ears

Beautifully penned Anupam. There's a so much pain in the words though.Hope the wait is not as long as it seems in the poem :)
