Truce

I'm striving infinite

To call a truce

With my master - Life

"I'll not wish, dream or yearn"

And from despair,

He shall save me, in return

  3. Good one!! We humans can't really stay away from dreaming, wishing for from life. But yes what life gives us unexpectedly is far better than what we ask for. :)

  6. Loved the comparison between master and slave.. Indeed, that is what it feels like - as if Life has its own control over us. & however much we may feel that we have control over it, some event happens to remind us that it is Life that decides our fate.. but is it really? We usually think not. Yet, when something goes unplanned, you give into it.. feeling disheartened & knowing that it'll just take you through it's course & being the slave that you are.. you'll just follow along.. cuz' you really have no choice.. so, you'll find your own contentment in it.. though you may really not be..
    so many contradictions.. hmm
    good one :)
