Evened

For the hearts I broke
My heart lies crushed

For those tears I never wiped
Mine haven't been heeded

For the pleas I didn’t hear
My prayers never reached an ear

For the love I didn't give
I found & lost mine

    1. Evened was written for the realization one wakes up into in pain. In his own pain one often realizes the anguish he might have caused to others and shut his eyes to. It is written for the realization that certain things happen in life not for what one thinks they do but for a higher purpose. It is in such realization that the one suffering, finds true meaning and solace and the ability to welcome that pain as part of the purging and endures it. So that he can resume from where he had diverted himself wrongly before anything began.

I am glad Vidya that you could find a purpose to my language and the verses.

      Thank You

  11. What goes around, comes around. The concept was put in a brief but gripping manner. It makes people think twice. I read it twice. :)
