Sign Of Love

Someone asked me

"What's a sure sign of love ?"

We were at the beach and I was marveling at the serenity of the frothy waves that adorned it.

I replied

" I'm always awed by the great depths of desire which the waves hold for the shore. They know that they shall never be united with the shore, but they keep coming for it. Tirelessly, unconditionally, eternally. Destiny commands them to never hold the shore, yet they come again and again and again for nothing but to hold on to it. That my dear friend is the sure sign of love"

I've a request. I know this isn't the right place to ask for it as it can be considered a spam but I'm trying. I've posted my blog for review. If you get time, kindly review it. Have been following your write-ups for long so thought to seek your help. I would be indeed be grateful for your time and effort.

    1. Thanks Kundan.

About your request, I'm honoured by it, Kundan. But before I review your blog, I must humbly tell you that I've never written a review for anyone. In fact I'm seriously handicapped when it comes to the art of writing a review.

Just wanted you to know this.

nyways, give me some time for reviewing your works , as I'm presently occupied by something something significant. I don't want to rush through with the work that you've asked me to do.

    2. Hey Anupam, thanks for your prompt reply. For my blog review, I wanted more of a blogger's perspective. I've some decent number of posts but still not many followers. Now necessarily, one may have followers but not readers. So for time being we can skip that difference. But still, wanted some perspective on how to reach to more people and engage them. Its like a holistic help. Take your time and no issues if you're busy. Do it at your pace. Thanks a ton! Regards.

  5. excellent bro,if i'm not wrong then this definition of "LOVE" has been quoted by you in your many posts previously, starting from your first "conversation with Avinash", right!! I guess this expression about love is very minutely experienced and again,i must say great post....

    1. Doesn't matter Rohan. What we get is not always in our hands especially something so untweakable as love. What matters is how we love.

If you are in love then love with reckless abandon, blinding yourself to the return of investment. They will say that this is crazy and impractical and so on and so forth. But only and only you shall know the inimitable ecstasy in loving like that.

Stop caring about how she loves you back, provided that you love her truly.

    1. Then that's a secret boon they have earned from the Gods to take back with them the shore bit by bit, till they are together in all.

  13. Is'nt the shore equally persistant.... patiently waiting for the waves to return again and again ... even if its momentary .. helpless of not being able to move towards them ...

    1. The shore is still. So we do not know its inclination. But from the actions of waves one has no doubt that it craves for the shore.

    2. Like seeing where the action does not persist ... like love ... its just a thoguht that i always have whenever I look at the sea...

  17. When I read the post , I somehow felt uneasy.....it felt more like an extreme case of obsessive desire like that of a stalker after his victim. Isn't true love more of a let go ....a sort of waiting ? Or maybe I'm wrong!

    1. You are mistaken my friend.

You must understand that the shore has never expressed that it doesn't want to be united with the waves. So where is the question of the waves stalking the victim. In fact it stands firm at its place, open for the waves to embrace it, telling the waves that 'Look I'm bound by my destiny to remain fixed but I'm waiting nevertheless'

So the waves keep coming for it.

If the waves let go of the shore then cruel fate that divides them would have won. Wouldn't it ?
